Fish and Chicken- Meal Ideas

Gonns vening Ladies,

Hoptilapialy by now you all have started your 7 day chicken and fish diet. I hope I am not the only one having trouble sticking to the plan. On Monday and Tuesday, I had  a herbal life shake for breakfast with a banana, chicken and rice for lunch, and fish for dinner. Tonight I changed it a little. I was unable to pack my lunch due to a training workshop that I had to attend so I had a turkey sandwich for lunch and a flatbread "turkey pepperoni" pizza with corn for dinner. I was so hungry that I forgot to take a picture of my pizza. I decided to post pics to show you what I ate. Comment and let me know what you have been eating. I would love to swap ideas.

Continue to progress in your healthy lifestyle journey...

What Tools Do I Use???

                                               Body Wrap                  Waist Training
                                                                                    Corset/Cincher

Hey ladies,

A lot of my friends and followers on facebook  and instagram have messaged me and asked, "What do I do?". I would always say workout and change my eating habit forgetting that I actually do more than that. I WAIST TRAIN!!! Some people may not know what that is. So I am posting a series of frequently asked questions that I receive.

FAQ

1. What is waist training?
Waist training is when you use a cincher or corset as a body shaper to accelerate weight loss through high compression, perspiration and micro massage. This tool helps to get the figure you've always wanted by instantly lifting, shaping, and slimming the body and flattening your stomach, waist and hips. It also helps to stop excessive eating by allowing your stomach to expand but so much.

2. Is it dangerous?
Danger only comes when you don't know when to take it off. Some women where a waist training corset 24/7, except when they take showers. I wear mine for a minimum or 8 hours and a maximum of 12 (and that is usually when I get home and I am so busy that I forget to take it off)

3. What is body wrapping?
Body wrapping helps to tighten, tone, and firm and part of your body. The wraps also help to minimize the appearance of cellulite. The wraps are made of all natural ingredients. It only takes 45 minutes to see results and you will continue to see progressive results over the next 72 hours.

4. Which tool do I use?
I use both!!! I wear my waist training corset everyday for at least 8 hours and I wrap once a week. Working with both helps me to get that hourglass shape while tightening any loose skin areas due to my weight loss.

5. Where can I find them?
From me!!! I distribute both products.

6. How much is it?
Honestly, it depends. I offer random discounts and package plans based on what the client tells me their goal is?

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!!!!

I AM NOT telling ANYONE to buy these products. I am simply telling you what has worked for me. I don't want to tell someone that working out and changing my eating habits gave me my physique and have them expect to receive the same results. These products gave me the jump start I needed and allows be to continue to lose weight. If you have any questions, concerns, comments, want to talk about other products or want to know how to order a corset or body wraps,  just post below.

Continue to inspire others and achieve greatness...

Quick Workout Plan

Hey ladies,

At times when I get off work, finish with my class, cook and have put my son to sleep, I am EXHAUSTED!!! But I still must find some time to workout. My goal during my body transformation journey is to workout 5-6 times a day. That may seem like alot but that is just my goal. You should create one for yourself and post your goal below.

For those times that I need to workout and don't feel like doing my full workout plan, I do this. YES I know it seems like a lot but once again this is MY quick workout plan. Yours does not have to be the same. Instead of three reps maybe you will do two. Instead of 100 crunches maybe you will do 30. Do what pushes you. I did not start off with this plan but as I started to workout more I continued to challenge myself.

Now I want you to do the same. Post your quick workout plan or what you think you may be able to do for one week. And remember, this is not my everyday workout plan. Just something I do when I dont feel like doing my regular plan.

ONE MORE VERY IMPORTANT TIP!!!!!!!
Ladies we MUST MUST MUST do some sort of cardio exercise at least 5 days a week for at least 10-15 minutes. There is NO point in sculpting your abs and doing crunches if it will only sit underneath fat. Cardio helps to burn calories, therefore helping to burn fat. So remember if you can't or don't feel like targeting your  the butt or abs make sure you do cardio.

Let continue to stay committed and see these results!!!

New Rules!!!

When I first started this blog, I thought nothing of it. I had about 4 homegirls that wanted to know what I was doing to stay fit. Instead of texting an essay, I decided to write a blog.  I wanted to have a small focus group of 5-10 dedicated ladies. Instead, I ended up having 20 young ladies that signed up. So I decided to fully commit myself to this journey. I created a timeline and goals for this process. Now I am asking the same from you.

I know that we all have busy schedules and a hectic life, but we all signed up for this together. I am a single mom, Ph.D. student AND a kindergarten teacher. So if I have time to post on this blog 2-3 times a day I know you can to.

So here's my new rule. This first week will just be a "Getting to Know You and the Expectations" week. We will discuss a little about ourselves (which some of you already have), our expectations, or any questions or comments you may want to get out of the way. Starting on Monday, those of us who have committed to the challenge will start our 7-day chicken and fish diet (please put a comment underneath the blog if you have decided to take this challenge with me). On Sunday I will also post my 30-minute workout plan that I hope everyone will commit to. On MONDAY we will start out 30-day challenge. By then all question should have been answered.

THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!
If you have not posted a before picture by Sunday at 8:00 pm, I will assume that you are no longer interested in the 30-day challenge and will delete you out of the group. As of now, the blog is public. On Sunday at 8:00 pm I will set the group to private and only the individuals that have posted a picture will have access to the group. I don't want to continue to send emails to individuals that are not interested. I know how that can be. If at any time you would like to rejoin the group just email me and I will add you back in.

If you have any questions or concerns about this new exception please let me know. Also if you want to post a pic or a blog yourself, let me know and I will give you access to the blog. Remember this is an INTERACTIVE group. Everyone should be participating. Thanks again everyone for allowing me to help you in your journey.

GIVEAWAY!!!!

That's right ladies I will be having a giveaway at the end of the 30-Day Challenge!!! The individuals that are posting, commenting, and tracking their journey will be in the giveaway. The person chosen will receive a free waist training corset or a body wrap. Both of these products are tools that I use daily and weekly to maintain my physique. So let's get started!!!

7-Day Eat Healthy Challenge

I know we all love our share of sweets, cheese, red meat, and bread. But how about for one week, we take those out of our diets. For one week, let's try to stay away from those items that we know contribute to our weight gain. For one week, let's stick to the foods that are nutritious and good.

Here is my challenge. Starting Wednesday, let's all commit to eating things that help maintain good health. Let's start off simple.

Rules for this  7-Day Challenge:

1. Only meats that can be eaten is fish and chicken. Chicken must be skinless. Meat can only be baked, broiled, or boiled.

2. Load up on vegetables and fruits.  You can never get enough of this.

3. If you are hungry, grab nuts as a snack. The fat, fiber and protein in nuts suppresses hunger between meals.

4. DRINK WATER!!!! This is what our body is made of. As a rule, I drink half of my body weight in ounces of water each day. So I weigh roughly 130 pounds. Therefore, I make sure I drink at least 65 ounces of water a day before I can have a cup of juice.

5. NO SUGARS, BREAD, or RED MEAT!!!

I know that this will be difficult but worth it in the long run. Post a comment below if you plan on committing to this challenge.

The 80/20 Rule

I'm sure all of us have watched "Why Did I Get Married" by Tyler Perry and have heard of the 80/20 rule as it relates to relationships. Now, there is an 80/20 rule as it relates to eating healthy and dieting. With the new 80/20 rule, weight loss is seen as  80 percent of your diet and 20 percent about exercise. This simply means your food intake is substantially more important than how much you exercise if you are trying to lose weight. Don't get me wrong. Exercising is GREAT...but it can be seen as pointless if you are packing the calories, sugars, and fat back into your body after a long workout. Become more informed on what you put into your body so that it can make the greatest impact outside of your body.

So as a simple suggestion...don’t go overboard with the weights when it’s what’s on your plate that really matters.

Ladies we all mess up with our eating habits and workouts, even me. Last weekend was terrible.  It started with me working out everyday for 30 minutes and then Friday came. I wasn't drinking enough water, I didnt exercise and I ate like a pig. Since it was Easter Weekend, I decided to give myself a pass. Now its back to work. What's your story. ..
